Getting Started with Revenuealot

Welcome to Revenuealot! This guide will walk you through setting up your account and getting started with our powerful suite of tools for Takealot and Makro sellers.

What You’ll Need

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A valid email address
  • Your Takealot Seller Portal credentials (if applicable)
  • Your Makro Seller credentials (if applicable)
  • A payment method for subscription

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit Revenuealot Website

Go to revenuealot.com and click the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner.

Sign Up Method

Choose your preferred sign-up method:

  • Email & Password: Create a new account with your email
  • Google Account: Sign up using your Google account
  • Social Login: Use other social authentication methods

Verify Your Email

After signing up, check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.

Can’t find the email? Check your spam folder. If it’s not there, click “Resend verification email” on the login page.

Step 2: Create Your Organization

Once you’ve verified your email and logged in, you’ll be prompted to create an organization.

Organization Name

Enter a name for your organization. This is typically your business or company name.

Example: “ABC Trading”, “My Takealot Store”, “Premium Electronics”

Organization Settings

Configure basic settings:

  • Industry: E-commerce/Marketplace Selling
  • Team Size: Select your current team size
  • Primary Marketplace: Takealot, Makro, or Multi-platform

Invite Team Members (Optional)

You can invite team members now or later from the dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Team
  2. Click “Invite Member”
  3. Enter their email and select a role (Admin/Member/Viewer)

Team member limits depend on your subscription plan:

  • Starter: 1 member (you)
  • Business: Up to 5 members
  • Enterprise: Unlimited members

Step 3: Choose Your Subscription Plan

Select the plan that best fits your business needs.

Perfect for individual sellers just starting out.

Step 4: Complete Payment Setup

Enter Payment Information

After selecting your plan, you’ll be redirected to our secure Stripe payment page.

  • Credit/Debit Card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Billing Currency: South African Rand (ZAR)
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly or Yearly (save 25%)

Confirm Subscription

Review your plan details and click “Subscribe Now”.

Payment Confirmation

You’ll receive an email confirmation with your receipt and subscription details.

Secure Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your credit card information.

Step 5: Explore the Dashboard

Congratulations! Your account is now set up. Here’s what to explore first:

Troubleshooting

Email Verification Issues

Problem: Didn’t receive verification email

Solution:

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Add noreply@mg.revenuealot.com to your contacts
  3. Click “Resend verification email”
  4. Contact support if issue persists

Payment Issues

Problem: Payment declined

Solution:

  1. Verify card details are correct
  2. Ensure sufficient funds
  3. Check with your bank for international transaction approval
  4. Try a different payment method
  5. Contact our support at support@revenuealot.com

Account Access Issues

Problem: Can’t log in

Solution:

  1. Click “Forgot Password” to reset
  2. Clear browser cache and cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Ensure you’re using the correct email address
  5. Contact support for account recovery
